Event History at Northern Sales:
04/17/2010– Pepsi has granted distribution rights to Northern Sales for the Juneau, Alaska market area. This will give Northern Sales 100% of the Southeast Alaska market area for Pepsi distribution. The effective date for the transition is May 1st, 2010 and all of the existing Pepsi employee's are staying on with Northern Sales.
03/15/2010– Northern Sales will complete opening a new depot locations in La Grande, Oregon. Northern Sales will be servicing the La Grande and Baker City markets from this new depot location.
03/01/2010– Northern Sales has completed opening new depot locations in Kalispell MT, Bozeman MT, Helena MT, Billings MT, & Great Falls MT.
11/17/2009 – Northern Sales has completed a re-organization of the top managment structure. John Beedle is now focused on operations as VP of Operations, Rose Treutel is now the VP of Finance, and Cliff Kraemer is now the VP of Sales and Marketing.
11/01/2009 – Northern Sales Company opens the Missoula, Montna distribution center. NSC will start operations by distributing Bimbo Bakeries bread products to the Montana market. Wes Towne has relocated from Juneau, Alaska to be the Missoula Division Manager.
11/01/2009 – Northern Sales Company opens the Fairbanks, Alaska depot. Completing our distribution system of Central Alaska Distribution (CAD) group. Servicing Alaska highways 1, 2, 3, and 4.
08/24/2009 – Northern Sales Company opens the Boise, Idaho distribution center. NSC will start operations by distributing Fred Meyer private label bread to the current nine stores in Idaho. Jerry Quinn has relocated from operations in Ketchikan, Alaska to be the Boise Area Manager.
05/04/2009 – Northern Sales Company has completed the purchase of Regal Foods LLC located in Anchorage Alaska. The new group will operate under the name of Regal Alaska LLC. Regal is a bread and frozen foods distributor in Anchorage and Kenai areas.
05/01/2009 – Ray Huot has joined the NSC team as the Whaler Casino Supply Division Manager.
04/15/2009 – Randy Hartley has relocated from the Sitka Division Manager to the Anchorage Division Manager. Willy Schrantz has been promoted to the Sitka Division Manager.
01/01/2009 – Cliff Kraemer joins the NSC team as Director of Purchasing and Pricing.
10/01/2008 – Tisha Luna joins the NSC team as HR Manager.
09/27/2008 - John Beedle, the Ketchikan Division Manager has been named Vice President of Northern Sales Company. John has 29 years of experience working for Northern Sales and officially takes the position January 1st, 2009. Randy Stepper is replacing John as the new Ketchikan Division Manager.
Scott Granse is replacing Mark as the new Kent Division Manager.
02/29/2008 - Northern Sales purchased the Copper Basin Distributors located in Glennallen, AK. CBD supplies freight forwarding and similar product distribution to Glennallen, Tok, and Valdez.
02/01/2007 -- Northern Sales offers tobacco and related product suppy to customers in Idaho.
12/13/2007-- TEXAS!! Northern Sales now offers a wide variety of tobacco products to the great state of Texas. We opperate under the name of NSALES Inc in Texas.
06/01/2007 -- Northern Sales purchased the Whaler Casino Supply, located in Anchorage Alaska. 'The Whaler' as it is known to many customers, distributes pull tabs, bingo paper, and gaming supplies across Alaska.
04/01/2006 -- Northern Sales offers tobacco and related product supply to Oregon & Washington. Two new states of distribution for Northern Sales.
03/01/2006 -- Lance Crosby, the General Manager of Northern Sales Company of Alaska Inc, and Darrin Erdahl, a northwest businessman, purchased the assets and operations of Northern Sales Company of Alaska Inc. The operations of NSC of Alaska remained the same, with a slight business name change to Northern Sales Company Inc. Lance Crosby became the president and CEO of the new corporation.
